Amla Navami 2023: The Amala Navami, also known as Akshaya Navami is considered as one of the most significant occasions in Hinduism just like the Akshaya Titiya. It is believed that Satyuga started on the auspicious day of Amla Navami. This auspicious day is celebrated by offering prayers to an amla tree. Akshaya Navami is also believed to be one of the most fortunate days of the year for performing charitable contributions and social actions is thought to be Amla Navami. This year, Akshaya Navami will be celebrated on 21st November 2023.

Amla Navami 2023: Rituals And Significance
It is said that those who fast and pray on Amla Navami will achieve Moksha or salvation. Devotees visit Govardhan Mountain and get to Mathura and Vrindavan. On this specific day, engaging in religious and spiritual pursuits is deemed to be extremely fortunate. The Hindu scriptures state that on this day, Lord Krishna left the alleys of Vrindavan and Gokul and proceeded to Mathura to carry out his obligations.

The sacred Jagaddhatri Puja is also performed on this day. This auspicious event is majorly celebrated in West Bengal. Amla Navami is highly auspicious to worship goddess Jagaddhatri. Devotees who do the Jagaddhatri Puja with great devotion are said to be freed from all difficulties. This day is also known as Kushmanda Navami because it was the day when Lord Vishnu slew the monster known as Kushmanda.
