1. Siddhivinayak Temple, Mumbai - The Shri Siddhivinayak Temple is one of the most famous Lord Ganesha temples in India, situated in the Prabhadevi neighbourhood of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The Siddhi Vinayak (Ganesha who grants your wish) shrine is located in a small mandap of the temple. The Ashtavinayak (the eight forms of Ganesha) are shown in carvings on the wooden doors to the sanctum. As "Navsacha Ganapati" or "Navasala Pavanara Ganapati", Siddhivinayak is well-known among his followers.
2. Dagdusheth Halwai Ganpati Temple, Pune - The famous and sacred Dagdusheth Halwai temple is located in Pune, Maharashtra. 3. Ucchi Pillayar Temple, Tiruchirappalli - The Ucchi Pillayar Temple is located in Trichy at the summit of Rockford. The Pallavas carved this temple out of rock, and it boasts incredible rock architecture. The structure was completed by the Nayak kings of Madurai while the Vijayanagara dynasty was in power. According to legend, Ganesha pretended to be a shepherd kid and persuaded Vibhisan to keep the Vishnu idol, after which Vibhisan became enraged and unintentionally struck the Lord. Therefore, the idol's head also bears that mark.
4. Moti Dungri Ganesh Temple, Jaipur - The Moti Dungri temple is located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, at the base of the Moti Dungri hill and fort. Seth Jai Ram Paliwal, who was travelling with Maharaja Madho Singh I from Udaipur, is said to have carried the idol of the god Ganesha that is present in the temple, which is believed to be more than 500 years ago, to this location in 1761. Moti Dungri's layout and construction are based on a model of a Scottish castle and are done in the Nagara architectural style.
5. Kalamassery Mahaganapathy Temple, Kerala - The magnificent Kalamassery Mahaganapathy Temple is situated in Kerala. It serves as the residence for the Navagrahas and deities like Subramanian. The idols of Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, and Lord Rama are also present in this temple. This temple was constructed in the 1980s and was created by Raghunath Menon as a result of an ordinary man's love and faith.
