Ganesh Chaturthi 2023: Lord Ganesha, also known as Ganapati and Vinayaka is one of the most prominent Hindu deities. He is regarded as the remover of obstacles, the guardian of the arts and sciences, and the 'Deva' of intellect and wisdom. At the beginning of sacred rituals and celebrations, Lord Ganesha is revered since he is the deity of beginnings. 1. Vakratund Ganesh Mantras
वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय सूर्यकोटि समप्रभ ।
निर्विघ्नं कुरु मे देव सर्वकार्येषु सर्वदा ॥
Vakratunda Maha-Kaaya Surya-Kotti Samaprabha
Nirvighnam Kuru Me Deva Sarva-Kaaryeshu Sarvadaa ||
Meaning - “I pray to the enormous, curved-trunk god, whose aura is like the light of many suns, Oh god, please remove all obstacles from my work forever."
2. Ganesh Gayatri Mantra
ॐ एकदन्ताय विद्धमहे, वक्रतुण्डाय धीमहि, तन्नो दन्ति प्रचोदयात्॥
Aum Ekadantaya Viddhamahe, Vakratundaya Dhimahi, Tanno Danti Prachodayat॥
Meaning - “We offer prayers to the omnipresent deity with a single elephant tooth. We consider and ask for the Lord's greater intelligence, who has a curved, elephant-shaped trunk. We bow before the one with the solitary elephant tooth, asking for wisdom to enlighten our brains.”

3. Ganesh Shubh Labh Mantra
ॐ श्रीम गम सौभाग्य गणपतये
वर्वर्द सर्वजन्म में वषमान्य नमः॥
Om Shreem Gam Saubhagya Ganpataye
Varvarda Sarvajanma Mein Vashamanya Namah॥
Meaning - "We pray for good fortune, numerous blessings, and well wishes for both our present and future lives. We pay homage to Lord Ganesha, who bestows upon us long lives, good health, and joy.”
4. Ganesh Vighnanashaya Mantra
ॐ विघ्ननाशाय नमः।
Om Vighnanashaya Namah।
Meaning - In order to overcome difficulties in life, people also worship Lord Ganpati. In this context, "vighna" refers to difficulties and "naashaya" to one who eliminates hurdles.
5. Ganesh Rinn Harta Mantra
ॐ गणेश ऋणं छिन्धि वरेण्यं हुं नमः फट्॥
Om Ganesh Rinnam Chhindhi Varenyam Hoong Namaah Phatt ||
Meaning - Another name for Lord Ganesha is "Rinn Harta," which translates to "The giver of wealth" in English. The Hindi terms "Rinn" or "Rinnam," which means "debt," and "harta," which means "remover," are combined to form the words Rinn harta or Rhinaharta.
