Ganesh Utsav 2023: The auspicious days of Ganesh Utsav are here which hold an important significance of worshipping Lord Ganesha. One can appease the deity of knowledge and wisdom by performing a ritualistic puja and offering Modak and Durva grass to the lord as well. Durva is revered greatly in Sanatan Dharma during the worship of the deities. During the Puja, Durva is generally served to all gods, with the exception of Goddess Durga. Similar to how Bel Patra is significant to the Shiv Pujan, the Durva is crucial to the Ganesh Pujan, and the worship of Lord Ganesh is considered to be incomplete without offering Durva.
