1. कहे कबीर कैसे निबाहे , केर बेर को संग |
वह झूमत रस आपनी, उसके फाटत अंग ||
Meaning: People of different natures cannot coexist, according to Kabir just like Ber trees swing in the air when planted close to banana trees, tearing the leaves of the former with their thorns.
2. साँई इतना दीजिए जामें कुटुंब समाय ।
मैं भी भूखा ना रहूँ साधु न भुखा जाय॥
Meaning: Kabir prays to God for a limited amount so that he can provide for his family and, if a guest arrives, also provide for them. It indicates that you shouldn't have more than you need.

मरी खाल की सांस से, लोह भसम हो जाय ||

7. तिनका कबहूँ न निंदिये जो पावन तर होए|
