Laddu Gopal Seva In Summer: Laddu Gopal or Bal Gopal, the adorable infant form of Lord Krishna, possesses a unique charm that attracts everyone's attention. The mischievous bubble of innocence and beautiful eyes make one fall in love with Laddu Gopal. Bringing him into your life by inviting them as a baby brings huge peace, calmness, happiness and good fortune. However, the seva of Laddu Gopal demands some changes season-wise. When summers are near, devotees need to implement some changes while performing seva of Laddu Gopal ji at home to keep him cool and comfortable in the scorching heat.
Below is the list of 7 rules that must be kept in mind while performing Laddu Gopal seva during summers:
Keep These 7 Rules In Mind While Performing Seva Of Your Laddu Gopal In Summers
1. In Summer, it is best to wake up Laddu Gopal before sunrise. The temperature before Sunrise during summers is moderate and hence, proves to be the best time to perform puja, aarti and snan of the little Bal Gopal.
2. While bathing Laddu Gopal, make sure to use sandalwood and gulab jal, as both of these substances are known for their cooling properties. Additionally, make sure to bathe Laddu Gopal on a daily basis.
3. Adorn Laddu Gopal with light jewellery and comfortable cotton clothes. Additionally, use white and yellow sandalwood to perform the Shringar of your little Bal Gopal during the Summers to keep him cool and comfortable.

4. Make sure to include thandai, sharbat, shikanji, lassi and sattu in the Bhog of your little Gopal Ji. Additionally, you can also include seasonal fruits like watermelon, mango, musk melon, etc. Do not serve hot food items to Thakur ji during the summer season.
5. Devotees can arrange a fool bangla (flower hut) or a little hut made out of khus khus roots for their little Laddu Gopal during the summers, as its shade is believed to provide relief to Gopal Ji from the heat.
6. Make sure to keep a glass filled with cold water near your little Thakur Ji, covered with a lid. Do not forget to add Tulsi patra in the water, as he does not accept any offering without Tulsi leaves.
7. Devotees must change Laddu Gopal Ji’s clothes at night, before putting him to sleep. Make sure to remove his ornaments. Thandai or cool elaichi milk can be offered to Thakur Ji at night. If possible, devotees can purchase a little portable fan or cooler to keep near the adorable laddu Gopal during summers to give him comfort and relaxation throughout the night.
