Mangalvar Ke Upay:  Tuesday is considered to be a very auspicious day in Hinduism as it is revered as a day dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Ardent devotees of the merciful lord observe a fast on Tuesday to appease him and seek his choicest blessings. The Tuesday fast can also be kept by anyone whose Mangal (Mars) is weak in their Kundli. 

Any man or woman can observe the Mangavar Vrat in order to appease Lord Hanuman. Anyone who observes this fast with sincere devotion and faith is said to be blessed with abundance as the fulfillment of their wishes with the mercies of Bajrang Bali.

Significance Of Tuesday Fast (Mangalvar Vrat) 

You can keep the fast on Tuesday even if you are under the control of enemies, in debt, ill, out of a job, or in any other vulnerable situation. In addition, veneration of Lord Hanuman during the Tuesday Fast is beneficial for individuals who are affected by the evil eye or some tantric experiment. 

According to astrology, Tuesday has also been linked to Mars, also known as Mangal Dev. Hence, people also observe a fast on this day to please Mangal Dev who bestows one with riches, wealth land, and property.

Benefits Of Tuesday Fast

- Anyone who observes a fast on Tuesday will receive the enormous grace of Lord Hanuman as well as respect, strength, courage, and endeavors in life.

- Additionally, Tuesday Fast is recommended as the best treatment for childless couples. It is said that Lord Hanuman blesses a couple with a child if both of them observe Mangalvar Vrat together. 

- The evil influence of ghosts, devils, and black spirits can be lessened vanquished by fasting on Tuesday.

Mangalvar Vrat Vidhi To Please Lord Hanuman 

- One who observes this fast must wake up early, take a bath and wear red clothes to worship Lord Hanuman. 

- Place a picture of Bajrang Bali in the northeast direction of the pooja ghar to worship the mighty Lord. 

- Light a desi ghee jyot and offer garlands, sindur, and tulsi leaves to the deity. You can also offer bhog and fruits to Lord Hanuman which you can later consume as prasad. 

- Make sure to read Mangalvar Vrat Katha, Sunderkand, and Shri Hanuman Chalisa. After you’re done with the pooja rituals, perform Lord Hanuman’s Aarti. 

- Throughout the day, you must chant Lord Hanuman's mantras to seek the choicest blessings of the lord. 

- You can also visit a nearby Lord Hanuman temple and offer a red chola, jasmine oil, sindoor, and boondi prashad to the deity. 

- You must eat once a day while observing the Mangalvar vrat. Practice discipline and follow the rules of Brahmacharya. 

- If you’re observing a 21-fast ritual then make sure to culminate them by performing a proper udyapan vidhi by consulting a pandit or pujari ji.
