Rainbow Meditation: Our life force, or prana shakti, runs through seven chakras, or energy centres, in the human body. These energy pathways can occasionally get clogged, which can cause disease and interfere with the body's normal functions. Knowing what each chakra stands for and what we can do to maintain the free flow of this energy is crucial. When the chakras are balanced, this is achievable.

RainbowMeditation: Names And Significance Of 7 Chakras In Human Body

1. Muladhara Chakra

Colour: Red

Element: Earth

Location: Between the genitals and the anus at the base of the spine

The Muladhara Chakra affects the lower digestive tract, excretory processes, prostate, adrenal glands, teeth, nails, anus, kidneys, and sexual function. Fatigue, lack of sleep, sciatica, lower back pain, constipation, depression, immune system diseases, obesity, and eating disorders are all caused by a chakra imbalance.

2. Swadishthana Chakra

Colour: Orange

Element: Water

Location: Positioned between the sacral nerve plexus and the genitalia at the base of the pubis.

The emotional identity, creativity, desire, pleasure and self-gratification, reproduction, and interpersonal interactions are all addressed by the Swadishthana Chakra. It is in charge of the autoimmune system, pancreas, adrenal glands, spleen, middle spine, stomach, upper intestines, liver, gallbladder, kidney, and sexual organs. Lower back pain, sciatica, low libido, pelvic discomfort, urinary issues, poor digestion, weakened resistance to infection and viruses, fatigue, hormonal imbalances, and menstruation issues are all signs of an imbalanced Swadishthana Chakra.

3. Manipura Chakra

Colour: Yellow

Element: Fire

Location: At the umbilicus level, which corresponds to the solar plexus or stomach.

The Manipura Chakra pertains to an individual's mental comprehension of emotions, sense of belonging, and definition of self-worth. It controls how well the kidney, adrenal glands, middle spine, upper abdomen, gallbladder, liver, small intestines, and stomach work. Diabetes, pancreatitis, adrenal imbalances, arthritis, colon disorders, stomach ulcers, intestinal tumours, anorexia/bulimia, or low blood pressure can all be caused by an imbalanced Manipura Chakra.

4. Anahata Chakra

Colour: Green Or Pink

Element: Air

Location: On the cardiac plexus at the heart's vicinity

A person's social identity is influenced by the Anahata Chakra, which also has an impact on qualities like wisdom, compassion, trust, forgiveness, unconditional love, and soul-related difficulties. It covers the operation of the thymus gland, breasts, oesophagus, shoulders, arms, hands, blood, rib cage, circulatory system, lungs, and diaphragm. Thoracic spine disorders, problems with the upper back and shoulders, asthma, heart problems, shortness of breath, and lung ailments can all be brought on by an imbalance.

Thyroid dysfunction, sore throats, stiff necks, mouth ulcers, gum or tooth issues, laryngitis, and hearing issues are all brought on by an imbalanced Vishuddhi Chakra.

The Ajna Chakra is associated with self-awareness, intelligence, wisdom, clairvoyance, idea application, detachment, insight, comprehension, and intuitive reasoning. Headaches, nightmares, eyestrain, learning impairments, panic attacks, melancholy, blindness, deafness, seizures, or spinal dysfunctions might all be caused by an imbalance.
