Reasons For Drying Up Of The Tulsi Plants 

1. Financial Issues - The Tulsi plant is seen as an avatar of the goddess Lakshmi. As a result, if your tulsi plant withers away, it may be a sign that you are about to experience financial difficulties.

2. Pitra Dosha - It is likely that Pitra dosh may be present in your home, which could cause the tulsi plant to dry out. Pitra dosh in your home might also spark arguments and result in additional issues. 

3. Malefic Effects Of Mercury - There is a potential that a person who is affected negatively by mercury would experience a dry spell with their Tulsi plant at home. Make sure you don't keep the plant on the rooftop in such circumstances. 

4. Alarming Sign Regarding Big Trouble - If the Tulsi plant in your home suddenly dies, it's a sign that major problems are about to hit your family. 

5. Significant Losses - The Tulsi plant drying up is a sign that you are about to have a loss in revenue, which will eventually affect your bank account. 

Remedies For Decaying Tulsi Plant 

If the Tulsi Plant in your home has dried, you must not keep it for long as it can bring negative energies. Here’s what you can do to reduce the ill effects caused by the drying up of the sacred Tulsi plant: 

- The dried roots and leaves of the Tulsi plant should be lifted and submerged in a holy river, pond, lake, or other sacred body of water. 

- Repeat this mantra while lifting the withered tulsi plant: महाप्रसाद जननी,सर्व सौभाग्यवर्धिनी आधि व्याधि हरा नित्यं, तुलसी त्वं नमोस्तुते।।

- The old Tulsi plant should be replaced with a new Tulsi plant as soon as possible. When watering the newly planted tulsi plant, recite the mantra mentioned above.

- Make sure to worship the Tulsi plant daily and water the Tulsi plant every day except for Sundays. Make sure to not pluck the Tulsi leaves on the day of Ekadashi.
