Yadagirigutta Brahmotsavam 2025: Rituals

The Yadagirigutta Brahmotsavam is a 23-day festival that features a range of rituals and ceremonies. One of the main rituals is the "Suprabhata Seva", a morning ritual where the temple priests wake up the deity with sacred hymns and prayers. This is followed by the "Sahasra Deepalankara", a ceremony where the temple is illuminated with thousands of lamps. The priests also perform the "Thiru Kalyanotsavam", a divine marriage ceremony of Lord Narasimha and Goddess Lakshmi.

Another significant ritual is the "Rathotsavam", a chariot procession where the deity is taken out in a decorated chariot.
