After the first day of competition, Tejaswin Shankar holds a commanding 250-point lead. The Indian decathlete had a strong finish, winning both the high jump and 400m events, resulting in a total score of 4260 points.

Ancy Sojan Wins Silver In Women's Long Jump with her best effort of 6.63m (PB) jump.

Following the completion of the third round in the women's long jump, India's Ancy Sojan holds the second position; Shaili Singh is currently in fourth place.

Ancy Sojan currently holds the second position with her second attempt measuring 6.49m, while Shaili Singh is currently in the third position with her second attempt covering a distance of 6.34m. In their first attempts, Ancy recorded 6.13m, and Shaili achieved 6.38m.

Indian men's hockey team trounced Bangladesh in their final Group A match by 12-0 to book a spot in the semifinal. India topped their group with a 100 per cent winning record in the tournament.,

What a thrilling opening match for the Indian women's kabaddi team as they narrowly avoided a defeat in the match against Chinese Taipei. Indian team gave away a bonus on the last raid to help Chinese Taipei level score 34-34 in full time.   

Chinese Taipei has all out Indian women's kabaddi team in the second half. India are trailing by one point in the final minute of the encounter.

The Men's speed skating 3000m relay team have made it to the final after finishing second in the heat with a timing of 4:15.126

The team of Sanjana, Karthika, Heeral, and Aarathy clinched a Bronze medal in the Women's Speed Skating 3000m Relay Race. They finished in 4:34.861 to finish third.,

India's both recurve mixed team and compound mixed team have qualified for the quarterfinals with respective wins over Malaysia and UAE.

In the Decathlon event's 100m race, Tejaswin Shankar finished fourth with a timing of 11.14 with 834 points to his name.
