India has secured a total of 86 medals, including 21 gold, 32 silver, and 33 bronze, with no medal matches scheduled for today.

India ended the 11th day with 12 medals in the bag to remain in the fourth spot with a total of 81 medals in the overall standings. 

India ended up winning two medals in men's javelin throw event. Neeraj Chopra won the Gold Medal with the best throw of 88.88m while Kishore Jena won the silver medal with the best throw of 87.54m. 

The team comprising of Amoj Jacob, Muhammed Anas Yahiya, Rajesh Ramesh and Muhammad Ajmal Variyathodi clinched the Gold Medal as they finished with a time of 3:01.58.

India have won a silver medal in the Women’s 4x400m relay event.

Avinash Sable have won a silver medal in Men’s 5000m event. India's tally rises to 77 medals.

Anu Rani clinches gold in the women’s javelin throw with a season-best throw of 62.92m in her fourth attempt. Sri Lanka's Nadeesha Dilhan won the silver.

India added 15th gold to their medal tally.

Tejaswin Shankar bagged silver in the men's decathlon event with a National Record of 7666 points. He broke Bharatinder Singh's National Record of 7,658 points. India's last men’s decathlon medal in the Asian Games was in 1974 by Vijay Singh Chauhan.

Parul Chaudhary wins GOLD in the women’s 5000m event with a timing of 15:14.75. Parul was trailing in the race but she increased her speed in the final few metres of the race to overtake Japan's Ririka Hironaka.

Vithya Ramaraj finished third in the women's 400m hurdles with a timing of 55.68 seconds. Oluwakemi Mujidat of Bahrain won the gold, breaking the Games Record of 55.09 while China's Mo Jiadie bagged silver after finishing second.

With Preeti Pawar's Bronze, India's medal tally has reached a promising number of 62 as we head towards our aim of claiming 100 medals in total this edition.
