What Is Teqball?
Teqball originated in Hungary in 2014 and is played on a specially designed, curved table known as a Teq Table. Players use a football to send the ball over the table without using their hands or arms.
The sport can be played in singles or doubles. Its unique curved surface makes the ball's trajectory difficult to predict, demanding excellent control, quick reactions and footballing technique.
Teqball Rules And Regulations
A player or team has a maximum of three touches to return the ball to the opponent's side. The same body part cannot be used for consecutive touches, while hands and arms are prohibited.
Players are also not allowed to touch the table or their opponents during a rally. A match is played as a best-of-three sets, with each set generally won by the first player or team to reach 12 points. The deciding set must be won by a two-point margin. Service changes every two points.
