Australian Open 2025: Jannik Sinner has qualified for a second consecutive Australian Open summit clash after defeating USA's Ben Shelton in straight sets. The match went for about two hours and 36 minutes, where Jannik defeated the American by 7-6 (7-2), 6-2, 6-2. Sinner will lock horns with Alexander Zverev during the summit clash on Sunday.

Sinner, who is the 2024 Australian and US Open winner and also snatched the No. 1 position from Novak Djokovic, had become the youngest player to have qualified for consecutive men's singles summit clash of the Australian Open after Pete Sampras since 1994-1995.
