Ronaldo continues to be one of the top footballing figures despite his move to Saudi Arabia after achieving immense success in Europe.

The Portuguese superstar never feels himself to be getting older as his incredible fitness and work ethic never allow him to think that way.

However, he is often asked about his future in the sport and he always remains confident to extend his career.

Ronaldo is currently in his 22nd year as a professional footballer and still remains one of the most lethal goal-scorers and most impactful players in his position.

The 38-year-old revealed in an interview reported by renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, that he may play for another ten years.

“The moment I feel I’m done, I'll retire… maybe in 10 years?!”.

Ronaldo, who plays for Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr, recently won the 2023 Globe Soccer's Maradona Award for being the top goal scorer in the year 2023 for both club and country.

The 38-year-old made his professional football career while playing for Sporting Lisbon in 2002, aged just 17 at the time.

His talent was quickly spotted by Sir Alex Ferguson in a friendly, and Manchester United signed him at 18 in 2003 for around £12 million.

Ronaldo went on to get acknowledgment through his skillful play at Old Trafford as he went on to become one of the best players in the world very early in his career.

His career only, moved ahead when he moved to Spain to join Real Madrid and gave rise to a legendary sporting rivalry with Lionel Messi, scoring goals after goals and breaking multiple records with Los Blancos.

Ronaldo moved to Juventus in 2018 before returning to Manchester United three years later.

He had to leave his boyhood club after a second stint on a toxic note midway through a disappointing season before joining Al-Nassr in 2023.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has helped the Saudi club to reach massive popularity as the veteran footballer continues to maintain a high level as he scored 54 goals last year.
