US Open 2025 Final, Carlos Alcaraz vs Jannik Sinner: The US Open men's singles final between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner drew the attendance of some big names from all walks of life at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York on Sunday.
US President Donald Trump also attended the Alcaraz vs Sinner final, and his arrival had also caused a delay to the start. When shown on the big screen, the US President drew a mix of boos and scattered applause from the crowd.

Trump made his return to the US Open after more than ten years, his last visit coming in 2016 alongside his wife, Melania, when the crowd greeted him with boos. Trump, who watched the final from close quarters, didn't specify which of the two men's singles finalists he was supporting, but his reaction to Alcaraz's triumph has all but clarified that Sinner was his preferred pick.

Alcaraz ended up producing yet another memorable effort as he defeated Sinner 6-2, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 on Sunday. The victory not only displayed his dominance over the defending champion but the Spaniard also reclaimed the ATP No. 1 spot, leaving fans eagerly anticipating their next encounter.
The win extended Alcaraz's head-to-head lead to 10-5, increased his Grand Slam tally to six, and gave him a 2-1 advantage in US Open finals.
"Right after the Wimbledon final, I just thought that I needed to improve if I wanted to beat him," the Spaniard said.
"If I want to win the US Open, if I want to beat Jannik, I have to play perfectly."
The Spaniard dropped just one set throughout the competition, that too came against Sinner on Sunday, en route to the championship, and he leaves New York on a 13-match winning streak and with his seventh title of the season in the bag.
