FIFA World Cup 2026 Draw LIVE Streaming: The FIFA World Cup 2026 will be played in the United States, Canada and Mexico, and the draw for the much-awaited tournament is scheduled to take place on Friday, December 5, in Washington DC with President Donald Trump also expected to be in attendance.

The full fixture list of the 48-team tournament will be released a day after the draw is finalised. As of now, 42 teams have already booked their place for the World Cup, which will get underway and run till July 19. A total of 104 matches will be played in 16 venues throughout North America. 78 games will be played at 11 NFL stadiums, including all from the quarterfinals on, and 13 each in Mexico and Canada.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 final is scheduled to be played at the iconic MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, where there will be a halftime show for the first time.

Six spots are still left to be grabbed, and a total of 22 teams, 16 from Europe and six from other confederations, are competing for the remaining slots. The final list of all 48 participating teams will be decided through UEFA and FIFA play-off matches in March next year. Friday’s draw will decide the groups of all the teams, which have been divided into four pots of 12 teams each as per their FIFA rankings. However, the nine highest-ranked teams, along with the three hosts, are in the first pot.

For the first time in the history of the FIFA WC, a seeding system has been introduced according to which the top four teams - Spain, Argentina, France and England - do not meet each other before the semifinals, even if they all win their respective groups.
