Turkiye have officially announced their final squad for the FIFA World Cup 2026, meeting FIFA’s submission deadline ahead of the tournament, which gets underway next week.

The squad includes two of Europe’s most exciting young stars, Arda Guler and Kenan Yildiz, who are expected to play major roles as Turkiye aim to make a strong impression on the biggest stage in world football.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be hosted jointly by the United States, Canada and Mexico from June 11 to July 19. Turkiye have been placed in a challenging group alongside Australia, Paraguay and co-hosts the United States. Their campaign begins against Australia at BC Place on June 13.

Turkiye’s goalkeeping department is led by an experienced trio, Mert Gunok, Altay Bayindir and Ugurcan Cakir. In defence, the team will rely on established names such as Merih Demiral, Caglar Soyuncu, Ozan Kabak and Ferdi Kadioglu.

The midfield will be anchored by captain Hakan Calhanoglu, with Orkun Kokcu and Salih Ozcan expected to provide creativity and control. Ismail Yuksek and Kaan Ayhan add further depth and balance in the middle of the park.

Up front, Turkiye have plenty of attacking talent, with Kerem Akturkoglu, Arda Guler, Kenan Yildiz and Yunus Akgun leading the charge. Young prospects Can Uzun and Alper Yilmaz are also included, giving the squad additional pace, energy and versatility in attack.
