GOAT Tour Of India: The Argentina legend and eight-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi met the former Indian football team captain Sunil Chhetri at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday, sharing a warm, customary handshake, marking a special moment in the GOAT India Tour.

Messi warmly greeted the players, saving a heartfelt hug for Sunil Chhetri, standing at the end of the line. The Indian football icon reciprocates the affection, as the crowd erupts in 'Messi! Messi! Messi!' chants.

Chhetri also extended a warm welcome to De Paul and Suarez, basking in the electric atmosphere.

Chhetri made his entrance at the Wankhede Stadium, donning a special Lionel Messi No.10 jersey and the Bengaluru FC captain was met with thunderous applause and chants of 'Chhetri, Chhetri.'

Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar warmly greeted Lionel Messi at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium. In a heartfelt welcome gift, Tendulkar gifted India's 2011 ODI World Cup win jersey to Messi, followed by a reciprocal gesture - a signed World Cup ball from the Argentine legend.
