Annu Rani secures gold in women’s javelin throw  with a season-best distance of 62.92m in her fourth attempt. Second Gold for India in Athletics today. 

Tejaswin Shankar finishes second, securing the silver medal in the men's decathlon at the Asian Games with an outstanding performance that saw him set a new National Record of 7666 points.

Shankar's remarkable score surpassed the previous National Record of 7,658 points held by Bharatinder Singh.

Praveen Chithravel claimed the bronze medal in the men's triple jump event. With his very first jump of 16.68m, he catapulted himself into the third position. Aboobacker, with a jump of 16.62m, finished closely in fourth place.

In a thrilling race, Mohammed Afsal secured the silver medal in the men's 800m event at the Asian Games with a remarkable time of 1:48.43. Krishan Kumar finished fifth.

Parul Chaudhary took the lead in last 20-30m to pull off a gold in Women's 5000m race.

In the men's 57kg quarterfinals, Sachin Siwach suffered a 1:4 defeat to Lyu Ping of China.

In a smooth and convincing performance, Kidambi Srikanth comfortably defeated South Korea's Lee Yungyu 2-0 (21-16, 21-11) in the men's round of 32 match.

Tanvi Khanna's medal hopes were dashed as she suffered a defeat against Japan's Satomi Watanabe in a 0-3 (11-5, 11-6, 14-12) loss in the women's quarterfinal match.

Dipika Pallikal and Harinderpal Singh secure their spot in the semifinals of Mixed Doubles Squash with a thrilling 2-1 victory over a Philippines duo in the quarterfinals. 

In a dominant performance, India outclassed South Korea 56-22 in the Women's Kabaddi pool A match.

India leads with a score of 32-9 at the end of first half in Women's Kabaddi.

India secured a commanding victory in the men's team soft tennis event, defeating Cambodia 3-0 with ease in a Group A match.

Treesa Jolly & Gayatri Gopichand reach Pre-QF of Women's Doubles with 21-14, 21-12 win in the opening round.

India's mixed doubles pair of Abhay Singh and Anahat Singh have reached the quarterfinal after defeating Hong Kong's Tsz Wing Tong and Ming Hong Tang 2-0 to top of Pool D.

Ojas Deotale enters the final of the Compound event in Archery. Ojas did it in style scoring a perfect 150 to beat former World Champion Yang Jaewon from Korea 150-146.

Abhishek Verma & Ojas Deotale will take on each other in the Compound Individual final on Saturday.
