Lionel Messi in Delhi, Check Full Schedule Today: Lionel Messi is all set to be in Delhi for the final leg of his ongoing GOAT India tour 2025. Having been in Kolkata, Hyderabad and Mumbai over the past couple of days, Messi will make his first-ever visit to the national capital on Monday, December 15.
Rodrigo de Paul and Luis Suarez will also be with Messi as they have been in the other three venues. Messi's much-awaited visit to the iconic Arun Jaitley Stadium for multiple events is set to captivate thousands, featuring cameos from cricket legends and dignitaries. The former Barcelona and PSG forward landed in Kolkata on December 13. However, his first day in India didn't go as planned, and a huge chaos erupted in Kolkata.

After a concerned security arrangements, Messi had to leave the event early from the Salt Lake Stadium, leaving fans in immense anger, who didn't even get to see a perfect glimpse of the legendary footballer. The crowd ended up vandalising the stadium and expressed their dissatisfaction with the event, slamming the local authorities for politicising the stage. Messi then went to Hyderabad, where he met LOP Rahul Gandhi and CM Revanth Reddy and took part in the G.O.A.T. Penalty shootout. The players later conducted football clinics for children before the night came to an end.

On Sunday, Messi was in Mumbai, and he caught up with legendary names like Sachin Tendulkar and Sunil Chhetri. He also met a few Bollywood superstars on the sidelines, also sharing the stage with the Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis.
On his last day of the tour, Messi will meet PM Narendra Modi in Delhi and could also be seen alongside the cricketing legend Virat Kohli.
Will Lionel Messi Meet Virat Kohli In Delhi?
There have been speculations around Messi's possible meeting with Virat Kohli in Delhi. Notably, Virat returned to India a couple of days ago. But he headed to Delhi from Mumbai on Sunday. While both the greats will be in the national capital, it is yet to be confirmed whether the star Indian batter will go to the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Monday for the much-awaited event.
