Lionel Messi GOAT Tour Of India 2025: Arguably one of the biggest football players to walk on the planet, Lionel Messi, confirmed his visit to India in December this year, after which a wave of frenzy traveled across football fans in the country. Notably, Messi also confirmed that he is set to travel to Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Ahmedabad.

"I'm truly excited to be visiting such a beautiful country as India this December. It will be a pleasure to attend concerts, youth football clinics, a paddle cup and launch charitable initiatives during events at iconic stadiums in Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, and maybe one more city...these tickets will be available exclusively on the District app. It will also be an honour to be able to interact and meet with India's biggest stars and top dignitaries. Thanks to The Satadru Dutta Initiative for making it possible to come back to India after 14 years," Messi wrote on Instagram.

Over the past month, speculation had been building around Messi's arrival, with various reports indicating it would occur towards the end of the year. On Thursday evening, the Olympic gold medallist announced his first trip to India after 14 years.

Lionel Messi's Tour Of India - Full Schedule With Dates, Venue

December 13 - Kolkata

Kolkata's Salt Lake Stadium on December 13 with the GOAT Concert and GOAT Cup.

Messi will play in an exhibition match with Sourav Ganguly, Bhaichung Bhutia, and Leander Paes at Kolkata's iconic Salt Lake Stadium. The match will last till 1:30 PM IST, followed by fan interactions.

December 13 evening - Ahmedabad

Messi will travel to Ahmedabad for an exclusive gala hosted by the Adani Foundation.

December 14 - Mumbai

Messi will be a star feature in the Padel GOAT Cup with superstars like Shah Rukh Khan, MS Dhoni, and Sachin Tendulkar, with the main event starting at 5:30 PM IST at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium on December 14.

December 15 - New Delhi

Messi is likely to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, followed by a final event at Arun Jaitley Stadium at 2:15 PM IST. Cricketing superstars like Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill will attend the event alongside Messi.

Tickets for Lionel Messi's GOAT Tour

Ticket prices will start from Rs 3,500 and will go up to 50,000, with facilities like meet-and-greet opportunities and signed merchandise.

For HSBC cardholders, tickets are on sale already. General sale will begin on 9 October at 2:00 PM IST

District app (district.in) will helm the ticketing aspect of the event.
