WWE Money in the Bank 2026 delivered new champions, two briefcase winners and a statement victory for one of the company’s rising powerhouses.
Penta and Tiffany Stratton emerged victorious in their respective ladder matches, Liv Morgan reclaimed the Women’s World Championship, and Oba Femi defeated Bronson Reed in a hard-hitting showdown at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on October 10.
The WWE Money in the Bank 2026 Results also saw Roman Reigns successfully defend his World Heavyweight Championship against LA Knight, ensuring the champion left New Orleans with his title intact.
However, the night belonged to the new briefcase holders and Morgan, whose victory reshaped the women’s championship picture.
Penta Unhooks Briefcase In Men's MITB Ladder Match
Penta outlasted CM Punk, Kevin Owens, Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans and Bron Breakker to win the men’s MITB ladder match and secure a contract guaranteeing him a future world championship opportunity.
The contest featured plenty of high-impact action, with Breakker using his explosive power to take down multiple opponents. Punk and Owens also renewed their rivalry during the match, while Evans and Penta delivered spectacular aerial sequences.

Despite the chaos, Penta found his opening and climbed the ladder to retrieve the briefcase. As Penta unhooks briefcase and claims the contract, he now has the opportunity to challenge for a world title at a time of his choosing.
Tiffany Stratton Wins Women's MITB Ladder Match
Tiffany Stratton defeated Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Jacy Jayne, Roxanne Perez and Lash Legend to win the women's Money in the Bank ladder match.
Stratton became a two-time Miss Money in the Bank, having previously won the briefcase in 2024. She used her experience and timing to capitalise on the chaos, eventually knocking Legend off the ladder with the briefcase before securing the contract.
Liv Morgan Triple Threat Victory Crowns New Champion
Liv Morgan delivered one of the night's biggest moments by defeating reigning champion Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch in a triple threat match to win the Women's World Championship.
The contest saw momentum swing between all three competitors, with Vaquer showcasing her striking and submission game while Lynch looked to capitalise on openings. Morgan remained in the contest despite repeated attacks and eventually found the decisive opportunity.
After Vaquer had focused on Lynch, Morgan struck with Oblivion to secure the pinfall and claim the title.
The Liv Morgan triple threat victory marked her return to the top of the women's division and ended Vaquer's reign. With Stratton holding the Money in the Bank contract, Morgan's title win also creates a potentially dangerous situation for the new champion.

Reed absorbed Femi's early offence before fighting back with heavy strikes and his signature Tsunami. Even after connecting with the devastating move, Reed could not put Femi away.
Interference and a brass-knuckles attack threatened to swing the contest in Reed's favour, but Femi survived the punishment. He eventually regained control, took out Austin Theory and finished Reed with Fall From Grace to secure the victory.
Roman Reigns Retains World Heavyweight Championship
Roman Reigns defeated LA Knight to retain the World Heavyweight Championship in the opening match of the event.
Knight pushed the champion with a determined performance, including a powerbomb through the announce table. However, Reigns survived the challenger’s attacks and landed a decisive Spear to seal the victory.
With Reigns retaining, Penta's newly won contract could now become especially significant as the men’s division moves towards its next major championship programme.
