Prime Minister Modi highlighted the immense passion for football in India, citing the intense discussion surrounding Barcelona's thrilling victory over Real Madrid in La Liga. He noted that the excitement in India was comparable to the fervour in Spain itself, displaying the country's growing enthusiasm for the sport.

Further the Prime Minster spoke about yoga and its popularity in Spain.
"...I have heard that yoga is also very popular in Spain. Spain's football is also very much liked in India. Yesterday, the match between Real Madrid and Barcelona was also discussed in India. Barcelona's spectacular victory was also discussed in India and I can say with a guarantee that like Spain there was verbal spat between fans of both clubs in India as well..." PM Modi said during his speech at the event.
With 10 wins and a loss in 11 games and 30 points, Barcelona sits at the top. On the other hand, Real Madrid is at number two with 24 points, after winning seven, drawing three and losing one in 11 matches.
