Real Madrid vs Barcelona, Spanish Super Cup Final: Vinicius Jr scored a hat-trick in the first half as Real Madrid were crowned Spanish Super Cup champions after a 4-1 demolition of bitter rivals Barcelona in Saudi Arabia on Sunday.
Real Madrid were clearly the dominant side in every aspect of the game and made it a heavy struggle for last year's champions who could not handle Vinicius and ended the contest with 10 men after defender Ronald Araujo was sent off for a second booking in the 71st minute.
A silly mistake from Jules Kounde saw Jude Bellingham's pass reach Vinicius who had enough pace to go past and beat the goalkeeper as well before putting the ball into the back of the net.

Barcelona were once again caught by the pace as Rodrygo made an early run and went on to make a brilliant pass from the right flank to Vinicius inside the box who somehow managed to bag it into the back of the net to make it 2-0 inside ten minutes.
The Blaugrana tried to keep things calm and slowed the pace of the game a bit, keeping possession at the same time before they managed to find a chance.

Robert Lewandowski reduced the deficit in the 33rd with a strike on the rebound as his incredible volley was enough to beat Lunin in Madrid's goal.
A few moments later Vinicius extended Real's lead in the 39th minute from the penalty spot, after being fouled by Araujo inside the box.
The goal was a hammer blow for Barcelona who dominated the second half and Rodrygo struck Real's fourth from a rebound in the 64th minute.
A few minutes later Barcelona were down to 10 men as Araujo was sent off in the 71st minute for committing a second foul on Vinicius, only adding to their misery.
With one of their best performances against the rivals in recent times, Madrid clinched the title for the 13th time, avenging last year's final defeat by record 14-time winners Barcelona.
"(Vinicius) needed two of three games to get back to his best level, and he's back to it," said Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti after the match.
Ancelotti has now gone level with Zinedine Zidane on 11 trophies won at the help of Los Blancos, only behind Miguel Munoz's tally of 14.
Laliga champions Barca were keen to get the best possible result out of the title clash to pick up momentum amid a disappointing run in the league this season but things went completely different for them.
"(I'm) disappointed, sad...this is football and we have to deal with the bitter side of the game, said manager Xavi Hernandez.
"We had a lot of hope and excitement going into the final and we've had our worst game of all of them."
