UEFA Champions League is back on Tuesday night, with several exciting games set to take place. However, European football is set to pay homage to the victims of the unfortunate flash floods that devastated Nepal on August 26.
UEFA has confirmed that a minute of silence will be observed before all Champions League matches this week in respect of the deceased victims of the calamity.
A special banner will also be placed at the stadiums as European football stands in solidarity with the people of Nepal.

UEFA's Statement
The banner will carry the message: “You are not alone, Nepal.”
UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin expressed his condolences and said the entire European football community would stand together in support of those affected by the disaster.
“The entire European football family will stand together before this week's matches to express our deepest condolences and our support to the people of Nepal. We wish them strength and resilience as they continue to recover from this tragedy and its aftermath.”
The gesture will be seen across this week's Champions League fixtures, bringing together clubs, players and supporters in a collective show of solidarity.
Heavyweight Champions League Clashes On The Cards
This week will witness a tribute occurring right before a busy week full of Champions League fixtures, with the active participation of various clubs all over Europe.
