The stage is set for an epic showdown in the US Open men's singles final as three-time champion Novak Djokovic prepares to face the third seed, Daniil Medvedev, on Monday. This match holds special significance for Djokovic, as he stands on the brink of making history at the US Open. Djokovic has a personal score to settle with Medvedev, stemming from his loss to the Russian in the 2021 final, a defeat that cost him the opportunity to achieve a calendar Grand Slam.
