US Open 2025, Carlos Alcaraz vs Jiri Lehecka Match: World number two Tennis player Carlos Alcaraz will face Jiri Lehecka in the quarter-finals on Tuesday at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York City. Interestingly, the player from the Czech Republic has beaten Alcaraz once in Doha. However, Alcaraz has also got the better of Lehecka once in the Queen's Club final.
"Of course, he's one of the two biggest challenges right now in tennis," said Lehecka, who defeated Adrian Mannarino 7-6(4) 6-4 2-6 6-2 in his pre-quarterfinal clash.
"We have never played each other on a Grand Slam stage."
Alcaraz, who also went past Arthur Rinderknech in his pre-quarterfinal match, stated that he prefers playing in the night session to the day.

"The energy is special playing the day session, playing the night session, it doesn't matter," said the five-times major winner, who smacked 36 winners past the Frenchman.
"That's why I just play my best tennis here in New York."
