One of the greatest-ever track and field athletes to walk on earth, Usain Bolt, famously regarded as the fastest man on the planet, has made a staggering revelation which might sound 'unreal' to his fans around the world. Bolt has been an inspiration for several athletes being an eight-time Olympic gold medallist along with a world record in 100 meters, 200 meters and 4x100 meters relay.

In a recent interview, Bolt shocked fans by revealing he no longer engages in running or sprinting, with most of his time at home.

"Well normally, I wake up just in time to see the kids off to school, and then it depends on what I have to do. If I have nothing to do, I just chill out. I might work out sometimes if I'm in a good mood. I just watch some series and chill until the kids come home. I spend some time with them, hang out, until they start annoying me. Then I leave. And then afterwards, I just stay at home and watch movies, or I'm into Lego now, so I do Lego," Bolt was quoted as saying by The Guardian.

Even after retirement in 2017, there is no denying that Bolt's legacy as a sprinter remains unmatched.

Bolt - A Family Man Now

Bolt is currently a father to a five-year-old daughter named Olympia Lightning and four-year-old twin boys, Saint Leo and Thunder. They have no idea how famous their dad was in his heyday. Nevertheless, the greatest sprinter ever thinks their view may change at the upcoming World Championships in two years, held in Beijing — the city where his career took off. Bolt intends to take them there himself to share the story of where it all started and explain their father's legacy.

Beyond athletics, being away from the sport has had its effects. Even for someone as speedy as Bolt, the weariness has set in to the extent that, at 39, even ascending a flight of stairs can be a struggle.

"I mostly do gym workouts. I'm not a fan, but I think now that I’ve been out for a while, I have to actually start running. Because when I walk up the stairs I get out of breath. I think when I start working on it fully again, I will probably have to do some laps just to get my breathing right," added Bolt.
