Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) is set to become even more competitive in Season 6, with the addition of a new franchise, Kolkata ThunderBlades, further solidifying the sport’s presence in a city known for its rich sporting legacy. Additionally, PBG’s team will compete under the new identity of Pune Jaguars, bringing fresh energy to the league.

This season, the tournament will be hosted in Ahmedabad for the first time, from May 29 to June 15, promising top-tier action and extending UTT’s reach to regions where table tennis enjoys a strong following.

The Kolkata ThunderBlades, co-owned by the Uneecops Group and MVikas Group, will make their debut in UTT Season 6. The team is backed by co-owners Ketan Jain and Rajat Kumar, both former national-level table tennis players, ensuring that the franchise is built on deep-rooted expertise in the sport.

Adding to their strength, renowned coach Anshul Garg will take on a new role as Team Director after successfully managing competitive teams in UTT Seasons 4 and 5.

With each edition, UTT has provided Indian and international paddlers a platform to compete at the highest level, breeding intense rivalries and thrilling action. The upcoming season in Ahmedabad continues this momentum, bringing the sport to new and established audiences, where alongside Kolkata ThunderBlades, PBG Pune Jaguars will take the court in a new avatar as part of UTT’s evolving landscape.

Starting May 29, the teams will compete in the league stage, with the top four advancing to the semi-finals. With a mix of established franchises and fresh dynamics, Season 6 promises another thrilling chapter in India’s premier table tennis league.
