BHARTI Airtel has announced new unlimited 5G data for its prepaid and postpaid customers with certain conditions. The aim is to allow customers to experience Airtel 5G Plus network. In a press release, the company also highlighted it will likely cover the entire country in its 5G ambit by the end of March 2024.
A customer can avail of the 5G data offer in a 5G-enabled handset from the Airtel Thanks App. To claim unlimited 5G data, locate the "Claim Unlimited 5G Data" option just below the "Shortcuts" menu in the app.
Enjoy unlimited data for the unstoppable you.

All prepaid recharge of Rs. 239 and over are eligible for the benefit. However, two exceptions in the list are Rs. 455 and Rs. 1799 pack. Likewise, the offer is available for postpaid consumers too. A user can claim it "every month on bill generation."
However, the terms and conditions of the pack clearly mention the suspension of the offer in case of commercial or fraudulent use. It is meant for personal use only. Plus, sharing mobile data after the customer has activated the benefit "shall not be allowed by mobile hotspots."
"We are obsessed with delighting our customers with best-in-class products and services. This introductory offer is in line with the philosophy of wanting our customers to be able to surf, stream, chat and enjoy multiple benefits at blazing speeds without having to worry about data limits. We hope our customers enjoy the power of world-class Airtel 5G Plus," said Shashwat Sharma, Director Consumer Business, Bharti Airtel.
Unlike the earlier capped data limit, the change comes as a relief to users since 5G connectivity consumes relatively more data than 4G. Airtel has joined the telecom giant Jio in the league to offer unlimited data. While it is an introductory offer to experience high-speed internet, Jio has been offering unlimited internet to its eligible users via the Jio Welcome Offer for a long time since its launch. Its 5G services are currently live in over 270 cities across India. The company claims 30 times higher speeds than 4G in the press release.
