Alienware has unveiled its latest laptops, the Alienware 16 Aurora and Alienware 16X Aurora, offering a more understated design compared to their usual bold aesthetics. These new entries cater to both entry-level and mid-range gamers, packing impressive specs under the hood.

Both models come with up to Intel Core Ultra 9 processors, up to 64GB of RAM, and up to 2TB of SSD storage. They can also be equipped with up to Nvidia's GeForce RTX 5070 GPUs and run on Windows 11, all while supporting the latest Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. The 16-inch displays (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) on both models feature up to a 240Hz refresh rate (120Hz for the 16 Aurora model) and peak brightness of 500 nits. A 1080p IR camera with Windows Hello support adds to the mix.

The Alienware 16 Aurora starts at $1,149, while the Alienware 16X Aurora is priced from $1,949. Both come in different variants with enhanced GPUs, and customers can customize their builds via Alienware’s website. However, there’s no word yet on availability in regions like India.

In terms of ports, both laptops include two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, an RJ45 Ethernet port, and an audio jack. The 16 Aurora model offers a choice of a 60Wh or 96Wh battery, while the 16X comes with a single 96Wh option. In terms of size, the 16 Aurora weighs 2.57kg, while the 16X is slightly heavier at 2.66kg. Both promise solid performance for gamers and professionals alike.
