Amazon Great Republic Day Sale 2026 start date announced in India Amazon has officially announced the start date of its Great Republic Day Sale 2026 in India as January 16. For those preparing to shop the sales, however, the e-commerce giant has unveiled a selection of smartphone deals that will give you an early taste of the big day. In addition to phones, the sale will offer discounts on laptops, tablets, smart TVs, wearables, speakers, cameras and smart home products.

Customers can further maximise their savings with cashback offers, exchange bonuses and an instant 10 per cent discount on purchases made using SBI credit cards.

Discounted Smartphones Confirmed So Far

Amazon’s refreshed microsite, ahead of the Prime Day sale, teases some of the popular smartphones that will see a price drop. Some of these are from OnePlus, Samsung, Realme, Redmi and Lava.

Launched in November 2025 with a price tag of Rs. 72,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model, the OnePlus 15 will be available at Rs. Its sister model, the OnePlus 15R, will now be available at Rs47,999 against Rs44,999.

The OnePlus Nord 5G will be sold at a price of Rs. 30,999 and the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G, Another End of Rivals, will start from Rs. 23,999.

Budget and Mid-Range Deals

Amazon has also disclosed its deals on these budget-friendly handsets. The Samsung Galaxy M17 5G can be purchased at Rs. 12,999 and the Realme Narzo 80 Lite 5G for Rs. 11,499. Entry-level buyers, on the other hand, have the option of purchasing Redmi A4 5G for Rs. 8,299 and Lava Bold N1 5G for Rs. 7,249.

Bank offers and applicable coupons are included in all prices.

iPhone 15 Discount Teased

Amazon has also teased that the iPhone 15 will be listed at a special price during the sale. But no actual selling price has been revealed at this time. More information should presumably become available closer to the sale date.

What Else to Expect
