Apple announced the AirPods 4, AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and the AirPods Max in new colours and a USB-C port at the 'Glowtime' event on September 9. The new AirPods 4 offer an open-rear design and offer other notable enhancements. According to Apple, the AirPods 4 can deliver up to 24 hours of battery life.

These ship with a new "acoustic architecture" and "high dynamic range amplifier". Plus, the TWS offers Personalised Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking for an immersive experience. Powered by the H2 chip, the earbuds get Voice Isolation for crisp calling and Siri Interactions with head movements (such as a nod or a shake to denote yes and no to announcements, respectively).

The force sensor on the new AirPods TWS can help manage media controls, while the H2 chip aims to deliver a better gaming experience with low latency. The case now supports USB Type-C charging. AirPods 4 with ANC trim supports Qi-certified charging and charging via the Apple Watch charger. The ANC variant also offers a Transparent mode, Adaptive Audio and Conversation Awareness.

Beyond the updates concerning the AirPods 4, Apple announced that the AirPods Max will now be available in Midnight, Starlight, Blue, Purple and Orange colours with a USB-C configuration. Plus, the existing AirPods Pro 2 will gain Loud Sound Reduction, Hearing Test, and over-the-counter Hearing Aid capability for people with mild to moderate hearing loss "this fall" with iOS 18/iPadOS 18 running devices in select regions.

AirPods 4, AirPods 4 ANC, AirPods Max Price In India

While the regular AirPods 4 costs Rs 12,900, the AirPods 4 with ANC will be available for Rs 17,900. Apple AirPods Max with USB-C will cost Rs 59,900. You can pre-order the AirPods 4 and AirPods Max in India right now. The availability will begin on September 20.
