Apple Scary Fast Event 2023: Cupertino-based tech giant Apple is all set to introduce new Mac devices at its Scary Fast event on October 31. The online showcase will be streamed across the official channels of the company to let viewers tune into the live stream. Hours before the unveiling, the like animation for posts with the hashtag: "#AppleEvent" changed on X, formerly called Twitter.
Compared to the typical red animation on posts liked by users, once a user likes posts with this hashtag, a new animation can be seen. This motion first highlights the rims of the heart in white light and then changes to Pink after finally turning completely colourful, giving the impression of liking a post. During the process, the shape of the heart is enlarged (for a while) before returning to its original state.
For the unaware, this is not the first time a special animation for the like button has appeared for Apple-related hashtags. Before the launch of the Apple iPhone 15 series in September, the like animation turned into a particle effect to mark them different from the simple like animation. Here are some reactions on X:

Apple Event 31 October: iMac To MacBook Pro, What To Expect
Among the expected products, the 24-inch iMac is the top-anticipation considering its predecessor dates back to 2021. It is expected to be powered by an M3 chip and may arrive with USB-C accessories like a mouse and keyboard.
