Apple Let Loose Event 2024 Highlights: Apple made several big announcements, including the first-ever iPad Pro lineup featuring OLED, the iPad Air, accessories, and the M4 chipset. During the virtual event held a few days before WWDC 2024, the tech giant also clarified its plan to integrate AI and introduced several AI capabilities for Apple enthusiasts. Here's everything announced at Apple's Let Loose event.

iPad Pro OLED:

The iPad Pro OLED, one of the most anticipated devices, was introduced. The company announced two sizes including the 11-inch model and a 13-inch model with the sleekest design. The company introduced a new type of OLED display which offers a best-in-class display and labelled it as Ultra Retina XDR. Not only that, the iPad Pro OLED is powered by the new powerful M4 chipset and fastet ever Neural Engine making the device AI-ready.

The camera is also updated with the LiDAR sensor and twisted to a Landscape edge for better perspective. It gets AI features like Scene Removal Mask in Final Cut Pro among others.

The iPad Pro OLED 11-inch price starts from Rs 99,900 and the 13-inch model starts from Rs 1,29,900. The pre-orders are open and it will be on sale from May 15.

iPad Airs

The company introduced the new iPad Air 2024 in two sizes including the 11-inch and 13-inch (first-ever) with LCD Liquid Retina display. The company has also added a landscape front camera and speakers with spatial audio. The device comes powered with an M2 chip, a significant upgrade in performance compared to its predecessor. It also gets AI features like Visual Look Up, Subject Lift, and Live Text.

iPad Air 2024 price starts from Rs 74,900 and the 13-inch comes with a starting price of Rs 79,900.

Magic Keyboard

In terms of accessories, the Apple Magic Keyboard was also announced. The company claims that this accessory can turn an iPad Pro into a laptop. It gets an aluminium palm rest with haptic feedback and multi-touch gestures. It is much sleeker and lighter and comes with a USB Type-C port. The price of the Magic Keyboard remains unchanged compared to predecessor and will be available for Rs 27,900 (for 11-inch). For the 13-inch iPad Pro, the device is priced at Rs 31,900.

Apple Pencil Pro:

The new Pencil Pro was also introduced at the Apple Let Loose event. It gets much hyped haptic feedback. It also supports virtual-shaped tools. The Pencil Pro also gets the FindMy support which means you will be able to find the device, if lost. Apple Pencil Pro price is set for Rs 11,900, similar to Pencil 2.

M4 Chip:

For a surprise, the company introduced the M4 chip with the iPad Pro with an aim to offer elevated display, and unmatched graphics for gaming and entertainment along with the fastest neural engine. The company said it is the most powerful chipset for AI.

Logic Pro AI Features:

Apple has introduced Logic Pro for iPad 2 and Logic Pro for Mac 11 with some music-making features including the Session Players, Stem Splitter, and ChromaGlow. The company also added Bass and Keyboard Players along with Stem Splitter for recovering lost recordings. The Logic Pro for Mac 11 is priced at Rs 19,900 while Logic Pro for iPad 2 is available on May 13 as a free update for existing users, and available on the App Store for Rs 499 per month or Rs 4,999 per year.

Apple Final Cut Pro For iPad 2 AI Features:

The company added Live Multicam, Final Cut Camera, and external project support while the M4 helps in rendering at high speeds, making the iPad Pro perfect combo. Final Cut Pro for Mac 10.8 brings AI features and workflow tools. Final Cut Pro for iPad 2: Rs 499 per month or Rs 4,999 per year, Final Cut Pro for Mac 10.8: Rs 29,900.
