Apple fans are waiting for the AI features and other announcements. It seems that the tech giant will be participating in the ongoing AI trend with its next-generation M4 chips. The M4 chips will be the successor of M3 chips and will support the AI feature. Further, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has stated that the M4 chips will be introduced in three different variants- Donan, Brava, and Hidra.
As to the rumours, the latest M4 processor with notable enhancements in terms of performance and features will be available for the full Mac portfolio, which includes the 14-inch MacBook Pro, high-end 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros, iMac, and Mac Minis. It was also stated that the new M4 devices are almost ready for production and that their worldwide release may take some time.
Further, their report citing top sources said that the company may introduce it later this year or even in early 2025. Apple may also introduce the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air with M4 chips later next year along with Mac Studio and Mac Pro.
Coming back to M4 chips, the company may introduce Donan as an entry-level variant and Brava as the mid-level chip and may power flagship MacBook Pros. The Hidra will be the top-end variant which may power the Mac Studio.
Meanwhile, Apple is also expected to introduce bigger memory. It seems that Apple has some big plans for the iPhone 16 series, which is also said to make its debut with more RAM or storage to offer a smoother AI experience to users.
The company is expected to announce the AI-powered features at the much anticipated Apple Worldwide Developers Conference which is set to commence on June 10. CEO Tim Cook may announce the latest developments related to AI and more.
