SAFARI is Apple's offering in the web browser market known for its customisation options, security and features. And as per Statscounter, Apple's Safari browser was the second most used desktop browser in April, inching slightly ahead of Microsoft Edge. Safari captured 11.87 per cent market share against Edge's 11 per cent. Meanwhile, Google Chrome tops the charts with flying numbers - 66.13 per cent worldwide.

While the margin between Safari and Edge is not huge, it must be noted that Microsoft is constantly supercharging Edge with AI features since the AI upheaval was sparked by OpenAI. Apple's Safari continues to remain traditional as of now. Among other browsers, Firefox appeared fourth with 5.65 per cent and Opera fifth with 3.09 per cent market share.
