Apple, which has been in the headlines soon after it announced the highly anticipated Apple Vision Pro at the WWDC 2023 event is reportedly going to open the applications for the developer kit next month. It means that the California-based tech giant would allow the developers to work on the applications for the Vision Pro headset and will likely apply for the developer kit starting next month, says a report by AppleInsider.
Apple AR/VR prototyper Emanuel Tomozei stated in a tweet that a few people have questioned him regarding the availability of the developer kit. Tomozei added, "It seems you will be able to apply for a #VisionPro dev kit in July," without giving a precise time. Additionally, he included a link to a "Work with Apple" website in his tweet, noting that the company's support will be "available in July."
The new kit for developers, according to the iPhone manufacturer, will allow you to swiftly design, iterate, and test on Apple Vision Pro so that your app or game is ready to deliver extraordinary experiences.
For those unversed, the business has unveiled the Vision Pro headset with the VisionOS, which will enable users to enjoy immersive gaming, streaming, and other chores while wearing the headset. The headset gets a top-notch 4K display along with 12 cameras and five sensors. It also gets a high-quality mask with a flexible strap to provide a premium experience to the users.
Interestingly, the business has displayed the Vision Pro headset, which will retail for a staggering $3,499 and will be available in stores by early 2024. However, the US would be the first country to get the device, and then other nations. With the help of a button on the device's body, users can also go from AR to VR.
