BGMI, often known as Battleground Mobile India, is now officially back in India following a 10-month ban with only a few limitations. Time restrictions are one of the main constraints that Krafton has placed on all users in India. Although Krafton has not officially announced the reason behind the time limitations, it is probable that they are implemented in accordance with regulations by the government.

According to a press release issued by Krafton, users under the age of 18 will be permitted to play the game for three hours per day, while gamers over the age of 18 will be permitted to play for six hours per day. Additionally, parental verification is added to the game, and the daily spending limit for minors remains.

“Strengthening KRAFTON’s efforts to promote responsible gaming practices, the playtime for users under 18 will be three hours whereas for the rest of the players will be six hours daily. Furthermore, parental verification and daily spending limit for minors continue to be a part of the game,” Krafton announced in its press release.

Meanwhile, the company has introduced a slew of new features and maps in the game which are playable from today. Additionally, the company has also mentioned that the gameplay might be staggered but it would be coming back to full action without any problems within the next 48 hours.

The company has also added a new map called Nuasa, which is the smallest map in the game and is based on a tropical zone. The map comes with some new enhancements like Ziplines, elevators, zorb balls, a swimming pool, combustible buildings, and destructible jars. Additionally, the gamers would also be able to use the Super Recall option along with new weapons, and new vehicles such as two-seater ATVs.

However, it would be interesting to see how the game progresses and whether will it be able to pass the 90-day trial period as announced by the government of India.
