Electronic Arts aka EA, a video game publisher revealed the newest iteration of its multi-player shooter game "Battlefield" during its investor day conference and stated that it hopes to reach the upper end of its yearly bookings prediction. After three successive games set in various eras, the new title will return to the current era and compete with Activision Blizzard's very successful "Call of Duty" franchise.

Battlefield 7 Release, Gameplay:

EA is all set to introduce the Battlefield 7 in early 2025 with modern time gameplay. As per the report, Battlefield 7 will be designed for a maximum of 64 players, half of what we see in the latest Battlefield 2042. The report added that the character classes will come back and specialists will be removed.

EA's bet on the over-two-decade-old franchise comes at a time when consumers have reduced their discretionary spending in the last year, sticking with well-liked titles instead of breaking their bank accounts due to persistent inflation. EA stated in July that it anticipates bookings of between $7.30 billion and $7.70 billion for the fiscal year 2025. Additionally, the corporation revealed the "EA Sports" app in an attempt to use the devoted fan bases of its sports games, like "EA FC".

"College Football" and the recently launched "Madden NFL" According to the statement, the app would function as a social platform that blends messaging, gaming, and sports content with a focus on international football.

In addition, EA stated that it anticipates doubling its yearly bookings for the game within the next five years and that it is teaming up with Amazon's MGM Studios to create a movie based on their simulation role-playing game, "The Sims".
