The iPhone 17 series, including the iPhone 17, 17 Plus, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max, is already generating a buzz online, all thanks to a wave of early leaks. From release date expectations to design overhauls, camera upgrades, and price predictions, these leaks offer an exciting glimpse into what Apple may be planning for its 2025 flagship line up. Rumours suggest a new design and new camera technologies. The Pro models are expected to feature significant hardware enhancements, while base models may benefit from features seen in past Pro releases. Although Apple hasn’t confirmed anything officially, here’s a comprehensive look at everything we know so far about the iPhone 17 series—from specs to pricing and more.

Apple's got some big plans for its new iPhones this year. We're expecting four new models: the standard iPhone 17, the iPhone 17 Air (which is basically replacing the old Plus model), the iPhone 17 Pro, and the top-of-the-line iPhone 17 Pro Max. So far, we know that these new phones will come with some fresh looks and upgraded hardware – but that's about it for now.

Apple is adding some finishing touches on its new iPhones for this year. We are expecting four different models: the base version iPhone 17, the iPhone 17 Air (which is kind of taking over from the old Plus model), the iPhone 17 Pro, and finally the flagship model, the, the iPhone 17 Pro Max. At the moment, we know these new phones will come with some new designs and upgraded internals, but there isn’t much else available.

In the case of iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air, both devices are expected to use the A19 Chip while iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max models are expected to feature the more powerful A19 Pro chips.

According to expectations, iPhone 17, iPhone 17Air will have display sizes of 6.3 inches and 6.6 inches respectively with 120Hz ProMotion technology that was only available on Pro models previously.

iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air are expected to have 8GB of RAM. Furthermore, the Apple iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will likely reach 15GB of RAM.

The iPhone 17 is expected to be equipped with a 48MP Fusion main camera with 12MP Ultra Wide and the Air model could feature single 48 MP lens on the backside

As for the Pro models of the iPhone 17 series, Apple will incorporate a Wide, Ultra Wide, and Telephoto lenses with triple 48MP lenses. There may be a slight reduction in the optical zoom to 3.5x; nevertheless, the rumour mill suggests Apple will introduce lossless digital zoom of 7x granularity through in-sensor cropping and claimed it does pixel shifting.

Because of the ever increasing tariffs and global trade issues involving the US and China, the iPhone 17 series is expected to be priced higher than previous models. Here are the speculated prices for the series:  

- iPhone 17: Rs 89,900  

- iPhone 17 Air: Rs 99,900  

- iPhone 17 Pro: Rs 1,39,900  

- iPhone 17 Pro Max: Rs 1,64,900

According to Bloomberg, Apple tends to announce its new iPhones during the fall of the year, so the expected time-frame for unveiling the iPhone 17 lineup is between September 11 - 17, which falls in similar to their release calendar.
