It is no secret anymore that Samsung has an event lined up for its flagship the Galaxy S25 series at Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2025 on January 22nd, it seems that the company is also working towards unveiling two new affordable 5G smartphones for the Indian market. The Samsung Galaxy F06 5G and Galaxy M06 5G have been seen on BIS, hinting towards an official release in India soon. Let's take a look at the details: 

Certification Details:

  • Two new Samsung phones, with model numbers SM-E066B/DS and SM-M066B/DS, have been spotted on BIS, According to a report by MySmartPrice.
  • These model numbers are linked to the Samsung Galaxy F06 5G and Galaxy M06 5G.
  • The phones that are yet to be launched were also recently listed on the Wi-Fi Alliance certification with the same model numbers.
  • BIS certification does not disclose any features or specifications but suggests a near launch in India.
  • The "DS" in the model numbers indicates that these phones will have dual SIM card slots.

The yet-to-be-announced Samsung Galaxy F06 5G and Galaxy M06 5G will be successors to the Samsung Galaxy F05 5G and Samsung Galaxy M05 5G. Both phones had a launch price of Rs 7,999 when they were unveiled in September 2024.

 These easy-on-pocket devices feature a 6.7-inch HD+ display, the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, a 50MP main camera and a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 25W wired charging.

While there is no official word on the release of F06 5G and Galaxy M06 5G, chances are that these new devices may feature some of the same specifications as their previous versions.
