Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Launch Date: The teased Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge's launch may be nearer than you expect, and it might just happen in the next few months according to a report. Only recently the South Korean smartphone giant launched its flagship the Galaxy S25 series at the Galaxy Unpacked event. But that was not it, the company also teased a new thinner device, bringing back the "Edge" branding and giving the title of S25 Edge, and all those who had seen the event already know that the smartphone was only teased with a few glimpses, and no price or specifications provided. Another new report suggests that a company official might just have officially teased the launch timeline of the Galaxy S25 Edge.
When will it Launch?
According to a source close to Samsung, speaking at the end of a recent showcase, 9to5Google reports that the Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to launch around April. This timeline aligns with earlier predictions suggesting the device could be unveiled in either April or May.
As the Galaxy S25 Slim edges closer to its debut, competing brands such as Xiaomi, Vivo, and Oppo may also be preparing to release their own slim devices, mirroring Samsung's design direction.

Details about the phone remain sparse, but Samsung did reveal some internal components during the Galaxy Unpacked event, including a dual camera setup with vertically aligned lenses. The Galaxy S25 Slim is anticipated to have a more compact profile compared to other models in the S25 series, likely making it thinner than the standard S25 and S25 Ultra.
While additional specs are yet to be confirmed, rumors suggest that the S25 Slim could compete with the rumored iPhone 17 Air, a model expected to be part of the iPhone 17 lineup this year. Positioned between the Galaxy S25 Plus and Ultra models, the Slim is set to offer a balance of performance and portability.
What can we expect from the device?
If we are to believe past reports, the S25 Edge may come equipped with a 6.66-inch display, which is similar to the S25+ model. The phone is expected to boast a 6.4 mm thin profile without figuring in the camera unit, while the actual thickness might come out to be 8.3mm if the camera is added.
It might sport a dual camera setup with a 200-megapixel primary camera. The expected powerhouse behind the Galaxy S25 Edge could be the same Snapdragon 8 Elite chip customised for Galaxy, which currently powers the S25 series flagship models, and can be expected with 12GB RAM as a standard.
