The Galaxy Watch 8 has just passed FCC certification, which leaked some details about the smartwatch, and it has been in the spotlight for some time now. Enhanced charging speeds and Bluetooth and Wi-Fi upgrades. This means Samsung is likely to make an announcement for the smartwatch soon. It is expected to be released with the new foldable. Battery life, AI health monitoring, and the Galaxy Watch AI integration features are subjects of great interest for the industry experts. From the information we’ve been given, it seems like Samsung is Chess, placing their pieces to tackle competitors in the wearables market.
Samsung has a pattern of announcing their flagship wearable watches together with the foldable phones. Numerous rumours and leaks have emerged, one of which includes Samsung's document with the FCC, and the Galaxy Watch 8 Is suspected to be one of the series. The listing includes information of the devices with model numbers SM-L335F and SM-L335U. We’re bound to see more updates on the watch.

Some models come with LTE connectivity, and the filing we saw also shows network bands (LTE FDD 2/4/5/7/12/13/14/25/26/66/71). We also get confirmation of NFC, Bluetooth 5.3 LE, Wi-Fi 802.11n (Wi-Fi 4), and even Wi-Fi 5.
Samsung’s filing gives us charging information about the watch too, with the e-label screen noting 10W charging speeds (5V/2A). In addition, the filing states that the smartwatch is compatible with the old EP-OL300 wireless charger (the FCC also had a 25W EP-TA800 charging brick). Check out the screenshots below.
Alongside the Standard Galaxy Watch 8 series, we could see the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic and Ultra 2. So there’s a good chance you will have a lot of new Samsung watches to choose from this year.
