Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra: Samsung has dropped a teaser that strongly hints at a new addition to its foldable lineup—one that could sit above the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7. The teaser, released via Samsung’s official newsroom, introduces what the company calls the “next chapter” of Galaxy. Industry watchers are widely referring to this model as the Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra.
If this device is indeed the Fold 7 Ultra, it would join the already anticipated Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and the newly expected Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. While Samsung hasn't officially confirmed the name, it did reveal a few hints that support the Ultra branding.
In the teaser video, Samsung showed off a sleek, book-style foldable with a noticeably slimmer profile than its current generation of foldables. The company said, “Users have demanded bigger screens, better cameras and new ways to connect and create,” and that it’s responding by offering an “Ultra experience” packed with upgraded features—yet in a more compact and portable form.
The device will also lean heavily into AI integration. Samsung promises “industry-leading hardware, cutting-edge performance, and seamless AI integration”. It confirmed that Galaxy AI features will be optimised specifically for the foldable form factor. The Ultra model is also expected to offer AI-driven tools for messaging, browsing, and gaming, particularly tailored for use during commutes, with the support of voice-controlled assistance.

While full specifications haven’t been disclosed, Samsung teased a “powerful camera” and the ability for the device to transform into both an entertainment hub and a multitasking workspace when unfolded.
An “Ultra” foldable has long been rumoured, but this is the first time Samsung has provided a solid indication that it could become a reality. If the teasers hold true, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 Ultra is likely to be revealed alongside the Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and Z Flip 7 FE at the next Galaxy Unpacked event expected later this year.
