Garena Free Fire Launch Date: The Free Fire India launch which has been pending for over a year seems to happen soon. The company has already teased the Free Fire India launch in September 2023 but was postponed over the gameplay refinement and complying with the Indian policies. According to an Economic Times report, the Garena Free Fire India edition is now very close to its launch and is finalising the localisation process. This means the battle royale players may soon get their hands on the popular Free Fire anytime soon.

The report citing top sources said that the Free Fire maker Garena is busy setting up the game servers in the country in collaboration with the help of Yotta Data Services in the Navi Mumbai region. This comes after Garena collaborated with Yotta for its cloud hosting in India. For those unaware, the Yotta is owned by Hiranandani Group and may help Garena comply with India’s regulatory requirements to relaunch Free Fire in India.

The report further claimed that Garena is already testing the server at a data centre with high output to handle the gaming of millions of users. With this, the Free Fire maker has completely reworked the game to comply with Indian authorities. The report also states that the company has worked on localising the content and characters which may even give esports a boost and lure more gamers.

The Garena Free Fire is already listed on the Play Store and App Store for pre-registration. If the users sign up for this, the game will automatically be installed on their devices as soon as it gets listed on the app marketplaces.

The battle royale players have been waiting for the game for a long time. However, the game’s alternative, the Free Fire MAX is already available for Indian gamers and now it is expected that the game will arrive soon in the Indian market.
