US-HEADQUARTED Garmin has announced a total of three smartwatches in India. The wearables debuted in the launch event in the presence of Sprinter Hima Das. The new smartwatches in the lineup include - Forerunner 965, Forerunner 265 Music and Forerunner 265S Music.

The wearables in the Forerunner lineup come with AMOLED screens, GPS, and multiple health and fitness-oriented features.

Garmin Forerunner 965 and 265 Series Specifications

The Forerunner 965 comes with a 1.4-inch AMOLED screen with a display resolution of 454 x 454. It has a titanium bezel and Gorilla Glass 3 DX protection. On the other hand, the Forerunner 265 has a 1.3-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 416 x416. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 4. Meanwhile, the 265 has a 1.1-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 360 x 360, as per reports.

Speaking of the battery life, Garmin claims the 965 can deliver up to 23 days of backup in smartwatch mode (up to 31 hours with GPS). Coming to the 265, the smartwatches can last up to 13 days and up to 20 hours with GPS enabled. Lastly, the 265S has a backup of 15 days and up to 24 hours with GPS-only mode.

Forerunner 965 packs marathon and running-oriented features such as stride length, vertical oscillation and Acute Chronic Workload Ratio. Further, the watch comes with heartrate and SpO2 sensors. Plus, it packs stress monitoring, sleep tracking and diverse sports modes.

Coming to connectivity, it comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Meanwhile, the Forerunner series was the first running-focused smartwatch from Garmin.

The Forerunner 265S Music allows the user to download music from streaming apps like Deezer, Spotify and Amazon Music.
