Google Pixel 8a Flipkart Pre-order: In a surprising move ahead of Google I/O 2024 on May 14, the tech giant has unveiled the Pixel 8a in India. The handset will get Google's Gemini, Circle to Search, and AI features. You can pre-order the device from Flipkart now. It will be available from May 14, 06:30 AM IST.
Here are the variant-wise prices and specifications of the new Pixel 8a for a better look at the device.
Pixel 8a Price In India
Pixel 8A's base (128GB) trim starts from Rs 52,999. The 256GB variant will cost Rs 59,999 in India. Customers who pre-order the handset now on Flipkart can get the Google Pixel Buds A-Series at Rs 999. The phone comes in Obsidian, Bay, Porcelain, and Aloe (limited edition) shades.

Flipkart advertises up to Rs 4,000 instant discount via SBI Credit Card and EMI transactions, subject to the site's terms. Plus, buyers can avail extra Rs 9,000 off via exchange offers of select models. With this additional value, the exchange discount can steep to Rs 59,000 on the 256GB model.
Pixel 8a Specifications
Pixel 8a has a 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED 120Hz screen with 2,000nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. As for the design, it has a matte back and an aluminium frame. Under the hood, the device gets a Tensor G3 and a Titan M2 security chip. It runs on the latest Android 14 and will receive seven years of updates (OS, security updates and Feature Drops).
The 'A's series device has many features like the flagship Pixel 8 series, such as Live Translate, Best Take, Magic Editor, Audio Magic Eraser, Super Res Zoom (up to 8x), Magic Eraser, Night Sight, Photo Unblur and Real Tone. The handset also introduces Audio Emojis to trigger audio reactions and visual effects on phone calls.
The IP67-rated Pixel 8a gets a 4,404 mAh battery with 18W wired charging support. It also supports Qi-certified wireless charging. Speaking of optics, the phone gets a 64MP OIS + 13MP ultrawide rear and a 13MP selfie shooter. As for connectivity, the Pixel 8a sports WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC and a USB-C 3.2 port. For security, the phone gets an in-screen fingerprint reader. Speaking of extras, it sports stereo speakers.
