Google Pixel 9a Launch: Google came out with its flagship lineup the Pixel 9 in August last year, now rumours are coming out that soon we might be able to look at an extension to this line-up with Pixel 9a. It is for the crowd who want Pixel 9 features on a budget, and if we are to believe the rumours and leaks the pre-booking for the device could just begin on March 19, with shipments and in-store availability set for March 26. Google Pixel 9a: Expected Features & Specs

The Pixel 9a is rumored to run on Google’s Tensor G4 processor, bringing some of the company’s AI-powered features to a more affordable device. It’s expected to include 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM, offering smooth multitasking performance, and a Titan M2 security chip for added protection. Additionally, the phone could be IP68-rated, making it resistant to dust and water.

In terms of photography and camera, the Pixel 9a might feature a dual-camera setup, which is likely to have a 48-megapixel main sensor and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, this is to ensure good quality photography for camera lovers at a budget. The phone might also sport a 5100 mAh battery which is a good thing, with  23W wired charging support and 7.5W for wireless. 

Pricing

As for pricing, the base 128GB model of the Pixel 9a is expected to retail for $499, which translates to roughly Rs 42,000 in India.

While nothing official has been confirmed by Google yet, the details we have here are based on several rumours and leaks, so it looks like we will have to wait for an official announcement for its confirmation.
